Sugarcane fibre, or to those in the know, bagasse, is the material left over once sugarcane stalks are crushed to extract their juice part of the process of creating sugar.

As a by-product, bagasse is proving to be just as useful, if not more useful, than sugar itself. Sure, sugar makes your chocolate taste delicious, but sugarcane fibre is helping to save the planet!

For every tonne of sugarcane crushed to create sugar, three tonnes of bagasse is produced. That's three times the amount of product which can be used in so many interesting and eco-friendly ways.
